The Republic of Ásaterra is split up into 5 Territories, each with around 7 further areas.

  1. The Centre /Frithstede
  2. The North / The Legion of Moar Dlí - The North is split up into Electorates.
  3. The East / The Circle of the Arcane - The East is split up into Territories.
  4. The South / The Warriors of the Dark Sun - The South is split up into Thanedoms.
  5. The West, and The Guild of Croesus* - The West is split up into Provinces.

*The West and the Guild are largely considered two separate entities sharing the territory, whereas the other territories are typically grouped as one.

There is also Frithstede, though that is not typically considered its own territory, but an amalgam of all four other territories.

Ásaterra is a Republic, and is governed by four individuals in the Council who are selected from the four factions.

  1. The Councillor of the Legion: Constantine II Byzantine
  2. The Councillor of the Circle: Kalyna
  3. The Councillor of the Warriors: Connal Soutar
  4. The Councillor of the Guild: Mike Dust*

*Notably, while the West and the Guild are considered separate groups, only a representative of the Guild sits on the council, with no representative of the West present. This has been a big driving point of the Western Independence movement.

Customs, culture, myths, legends and folklore. Ásaterra has been an established land for over a thousand years. The Four Pillars pantheon consists of thirteen deities, who are know by different names in other lands.
