Orcs

Orcs originally dwelt in the regions of Southern Asaterra and Skovva. Often drawn to cooler climates, they often make their homes in  the mountains and icy tundra. Orcs are known for being strong warriors and excellent hunters, which is one of the reasons they thrive in Skovva. Orc family bonds are exceptionally strong, and once their loyalty is earnt, it is won for life. Some Orc families band together to form tribes. Orc culture encourages emotions to be openly expressed, and Orcs are known for both their passions and their rages; nothing is done in half-measures. Stories of great deeds are passed down through families, and Orcs will typically mark themselves with scars or tattoos to display their great deeds, becoming living histories of themselves. However, since acceptance into mainstream culture, this practise has been rapidly waning amongst the young.
