Asa Frith

Frithstede has been the capital of Ásaterra since 1244 BA. After the country was divided into four political regions, it was decided that the capital should be on neutral ground. After a lot of debate, it was decided that the new capital should be established on the banks of Lake Scír, where the boarders of the Western, Eastern and Southern regions meet. The fortress of Mereseld, left empty after the civil war, was rebuilt and established as the base of the council and the assembly. Although the Councillor's mainly reside in their private residences, they all have their own rooms in the main keep, for them to use during assemblies and council meetings.

The Mereseld Fortress[]

The Fortress is a grand spectacle to behold. While heavily damaged in the Second Civil War, it was rebuilt to provide a central building for Frithstede to be built around. The Building itself is some of Ásaterra’s finest architecture, borrowing highlights and styles from each region, though not gaudily shoving them together. Located inside is the Council’s Chambers; the location where the Leaders of Ásaterra come together to discuss the ruling of the land. While it has never been confirmed, it is believed that the building has various defence mechanisms built into the structure itself to protect those inside should any nefarious attacks occur on the structure.

Lake Scir[]

A beautiful lake that spans roughly 100 miles wide. The body of water sees multiple rivers run into it, from both the West and South.

The Family Home[]

The central location of the temple of The Parents, a group dedicated to Lyre. These followers provide support to families all over Ásaterra; from places to stay for the family during medical operations, to food donated to the less fortunate.
